Just 100 bottles of this 41 year old Glenglassaugh emerged from the single rum barrel in which this whisky was finished in September 2015. Hand selected by Billy Walker, it's part of the distillery's second batch of Rare Cask releases.
Nose: Fresh summer blackberries mellow to hints of ripe banana dusted with cinnamon. Palate: Rich treacle toffee and dark chocolate poured over dried Mediterranean fruits; all softening to Demerara sugar and barley in the long finish.
