Part of the second batch of Rare Cask Releases from Glenglassaugh distillery, this extraordinary 40 year old malt was and finished in a single Massandra Madeira puncheon hand selected by Billy Walker and for bottling in September 2015. The outturn was 588 bottles.

Producer's Tasting Note:
Nose: Warming black pepper and gentle hints of anise complement apricot syrup and roasted orchard fruits.
Palate: Rich golden sultanas soften to crème brûlée. Mellow notes of toasted walnuts and hints of leather add great depth to the vintage finish.
