Here we have a bottling of fabulous 40 year old single malt from Glenglassaugh, bottled by The Malt Whisky Company - which is run by Stuart Nickerson, Glenglassaugh's previous Managing Director. It was distilled in December 1973 and aged for four decades in a single refill sherry hogshead. The Malt Whisky Company bottled the whisky in September 2014 at 41.5% ABV, with an outturn of 298 bottles. A wonderfully sherried Highlander.
