Glenglassaugh 10yo #2140 Bottling Note

A spectacular addition to the Rare Cask Release collection from Glenglassaugh – this single malt was distilled in June 2010 and allowed to mature for 10 years in a single Oloroso sherry puncheon. Hand selected by the distillery's Master Blender, Rachel Barrie, the cask was cracked open in 2021, with a total outturn of 713 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Ginger biscuits, apple pastries, booze soaked sultanas, bold, malty oak.

Palate: Candied orange peels, sweet berries, a touch of tropical melon, and caramelised pineapple with a whiff of peppermint.

Finish: Floral barley, vanilla toffee, slightly waxy with sweet, sherried oak, and dried herbs.
