Glenfiddich

The Glenfiddich Malt Master's Edition was named for the distillery's sixth Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, as he was their first Malt Master to double-mature Glenfiddich whisky in two different casks. This expression was initially matured in traditional oak casks, but was then finished for a number of years in Sherry casks to further develop the flavours, bringing warming fruitcake and gingerbread notes to the table.

I love this one. I little bit sweeter than the Solera - i need to buy a new bottle.
A little expensive compared to the 15 year old Solera vat and maybe a touch sweeter. Maybe it's what the tasters call cereal, sweeter like a Macallan, a pleasant Fiddie on a Friday afternoon in any case. I'll need more time with it to form a deeper opinion.
