Another release from the Glenfiddich Experimental Series - the Winter Storm has been finished in icewine casks, inspired by Malt Master Brian Kinsman's visit to the Peller Estates winery in Canada. After 21 years of maturation (Kinsman believes that only older whiskies can stand up to the intense icewine notes), the Glenfiddich single malt was allowed a finishing period in icewine casks for up to six months before bottling.

A bouquet of tropical fruit and candied sweets are perfectly balanced with underlying wine notes.
Soft sweet notes reminiscent of candied fruit and Turkish delight develop into flavours of mouthwatering lychee. The fusion of sweet flavours is soon met with a rich drying sensation from the icewine.
