Glenfiddich
Scotland
Single Malt

A fabulous 14 year old expression from Glenfiddich! Overseen by the distillery's Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, the whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks, before being treated to a finishing period in charred new American oak barrels all the way from The Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky. The result is a fabulously fruity number, with a good oaken vanilla Kentucky kick!
A big noseful of oaky vanilla with wafts of candied lemon and orange, apple tart, burnt sugar, and cask char.
Sweet caramel, toffee apples, and creamy vanilla tangle with spicy, toasted oak, cinnamon, and candied oranges.
Warming woody spice, sweet butterscotch, toffee popcorn, and silky sweet malt.

Excellent whiskey. Might be my favorite out of all the glenfiddich's I've had to date. Very affordable at its price. Will definitely purchase again
Sweet and solid. Might be my favorite out of all the glenfiddich's that I've had to date. Excellent and very affordable at it's price. Will definitely purchase again.
For a non-peated, non-smoky scotch whisky, this is wonderful. Sweeter than I normally go for, but the burnt caramel/vanilla taste is delightful. Enjoyed it neat, as uaual, with a few drops of water, but this would be fantastic on ice!
