Description
A 1996 vintage whisky from Speyside's spectacular Garfarclas distillery, bottled in 2017. You're more likely to find this in mainland Europe, but we're incredibly happy to see this Oloroso Sherry cask matured single malt on our sunny shores.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toast with chocolate spread, blackberry jam, a whisper of clove.
Palate
Fruitcake topped with diced almonds, thick caramel and treacle, some rum-like spices, chocolate ice cream.
Finish
Brown sugar and shortbread with raisins.
