Description

The Glenfarclas 1979 Family Cask reaches double digits! The 10th release comes from cask 8791, a plain hogshead, and was bottled in 2012. A limited release of 210 bottles of brilliant single malt Scotch whisky.

Nose

Rich, comforting vanilla with further sweetness underneath and a hint of oak.

Palate

A sweet selection of movie-theatre popcorn, butterscotch and liquorice.

Finish

Lasting, with maybe even a hint of fudge.

Overall

The tenth release of Glenfarclas 1979 is marvelous.
