A very Christmas spice rich Glenfarclas, this was distilled in 1961 and matured in single cask 4913, a sherry hogshead, before bottling as part of the 2007 released Family Cask collection.
The nose is ripe and rich. Sherried, fruit. Aniseed, crème de cassis. Toffee.
Spicy. Oak, vanilla. Tight, sherry, crystallized fruit. Sherry.
Long, oaky, barley.
