The sixth release of 1969 Family Cask from Glenfarclas, this time aged in a single sherry hogshead (number 3187) and bottled in 2010. Delicious stuff.
Sweet and luscious nose with notes of vanilla, almond and hazelnut. Hints of rosy red apples and malt.
The palate is a thick, malty mouth-filling experience with notes of vanilla cream, butterscotch and rye bread. Hints of black pepper and allspice.
Spiced and warming with notes of cinnamon and toffee apples.
