Matured in sherry hogshead number 2649, this is the 6th release of Glenfarclas' 1962 Family Cask. An unusual whisky for Glenfarclas, and very fruity indeed!
Nectarines, stem ginger and digestive biscuits, hints of soft oak, allspice, peach melba and rancio.
Boiled fruits, lemon sherbet, marmalade and triple sec. Very vibrant and surprisingly zesty.
Good length with rich fruitcake and spice.
