Lots of sherry and fruit in this, Glenfarclas 12 was originally bottled for export and travel retail markets. In 2006, it was named the "Best Sherried Whisky" in the Single Malt World Cup, and in 2007 and 2008 it won Gold at the Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival.
Light and creamy with a mix of supple, soft sherry and Manuka honey. Gentle and well-balanced, there are hints of smoke, rich oak, and a little pine resin.
Medium-bodied, with notes of date and walnut cake, Oloroso sherry and hints of earthy forest floor. A beautiful note of malt, with toffee apple and a touch of smoke.
Spicy and long, notes of allspice, cinnamon and cloves, with orange zest and sherry.

Bought this expecting a sherry bomb and was very pleasantly surprised. Reminds me of a better Glenfiddich 15 lots of cherry and toffee apple followed by charred oak and butterscotch with a cinnamon/sherry finish. This is an awesome dessert whisky definitely want to try more from this distillery it has revived my interest in sherry aged Speysides(along with Mortlach). The Sugarbear
Love this one. So good! Have only been drinking whisky for a month, but this is my best so far (and the cheapest actually). Have the GF 15 and the GD15 revival also, cant wait to open them.
This is the best 12yo for your money. Most complex and flavorful that you will find.
À renouveler.Un scotch qu'il faut avoir sous la main en toute occasion.
Lovely fruity-toffee, well aged. Full of flavours. On top with Bunnahabhain and Glendronach. Better than the 18yo version. Soo yummy!
