"Straight to the point" whisky. Real Highlander, no prisoners taken but also pleasant. What's not to like.
This is absolutly delicious, and it's getting better with the years! 15, 18, 21 and 25, what a dram those are! ?
I love this stuff. It's not my favorite scotch ever, but it's the best scotch I can afford to regularly drink. A splash of water and 10 minutes does it wonders too. It has a great nose of toffee and honey. It gets a bit sweet on the palette, but makes up for it with an ever-drying finish with a touch of oak.
Unusual, but very good. Raisin, Toffee, Sherry, Honey, Spice.... I found the nose to be particularly complex. Very much enjoyed!
Fantastic mixer. Three rocks, 1/1 ratio with a good ginger beer. One could sip these all night. Ooh baby. 2 oz glenfarclas, splash of vermouth, dash o bitters, aged sour cherry, get some.
