Reviews for Glenfarclas 105
BOOM!
If you want to taste a powerful, Sherry bomb whisky, this is the one! Bottled at cask strength (60%) it is just how a whisky should taste. Try a sip neat, then add water to enhance the subtle flavours. You will not be disappointed.

Still one of the best
I first tried the 105 a few years ago at the distillery and immediately bought a bottle. I've had a few bottles over the years and decided that it was time to revisit this whisky - and I'm glad I did. It's a BIG whisky, young, yes, but with good body and powerful, with butterscotch and raisins and a sherry kick which is hard to find these days. It can take a fair amount of water, too, so don't be put off by the high strength.

Thank you glenfarclas
Purchased this alongside a bottle of abunadh. Both amazing and present an old style whisky experience you can enjoy over a long time. But this is much better value.
Big on sherry and oak, better once opened a few months to smooth out, also got a bit sweeter as time went by.
Will definitely buy again, will always have a bottle of this in my collection. What an amazing product.
Well done glenfarclas, thank you

New best sherrybomb !
Great stuff, well capable of taking up the baton that Aberlour A’bunadh has dropped so spectacularly with PR’s greed .Litre bottle will keep you going for a good while .I bought a bottle of this as a birthday treat to myself .I then walked to a nearby whiskey bar and ordered an Aberlour A’bunadh for comparative purposes .Im not disappointed with my 105 purchase .Theres no way the A’bunadh is worth double and in fact a Teeling Brabazon volume 1 May even top it for breadth of flavour (but that’s the same price for 700ml as 105 is for 1000ml) Intjink this could be my new ‘best bottle’ whiskey .I definitely prefer it to Yellow Spot (which is dearer) If I lived in Netherlands (where this is €35 not €75 like in Ireland) or U.K. I’d buy this by the case!!!!

Nice
A really powerful flavour of fruit and a touch of oak. And at 60% it is definitely a big bang.
Purchase it and you won't be disappointed.
