Ooh, GlenDronach has gone and released another exceptional whisky in collaboration with the folks behind the Kingsman film franchise! The previous bottling was very popular indeed, and we're certain this one will be too, considering it's an extraordinarily well-matured 29 year old GlenDronach single malt! It was distilled in 1989 and originally matured in Oloroso sherry casks before being moved over to Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for a final maturation, then bottled up at 50.1% ABV. 3,052 bottles were produced to mark the release of the franchise's third film, The King's Man.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Dense autumn fruits melt with date, fig and treacle, rolling into black winter truffle, raisin and cocoa. Blackberry, tobacco leaf and date oil linger into the rich, deep finish.
