Yet another excellent whisky here from the GlenDronach Distillery, released as part of its 18th batch of single cask bottlings. This one is a 27 year old single malt, aged in an Oloroso sherry puncheon from 1993 to 2020, and then bottled up at cask strength. 699 bottles were produced.
Very simply: this could be the best Scotch I have ever tasted. I could talk by nose or pallets. But none of that matters. This whiskey makes you feel alive.
