Batch 6 of the Grandeur series from GlenDronach lives up to its name, featuring a single malt Scotch whisky which has matured to a grand old age of 24. The whisky presented in this release was selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker from some stunning Oloroso Sherry oak casks, bottled at 48.9% ABV and limited to 1180 bottles. It also comes with some charming photos and a presentation box.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet notes of dried fruits and citrus, with maybe a whiff of cherries and almonds, bringing to mind rich Maraschino liqueurs. Herbal mint and a hint of cracked black pepper from the oak give balance.

Palate: Oodles of Sherried spices and golden syrup. A hint of light, floral honey, strong coffee and plump raisins.

Finish: Orange blossom and Christmas spice on the finish.
