22 year old single cask GlenDronach single malt? How delicious! This whisky was distilled in June 1995 and aged in a Pedro Ximénez until September 2017, when it was bottled for La Maison du Whisky. A release of 661 bottles.
Mocha, baked apricot with a drizzle of honey, some subtly toasty cinnamon elements.
Intense raisin and sugared almond sweetness as first, before layers of gingerbread and oak reveal themselves.
Oily walnut, black pepper and more dark chocolate.
