A UK exclusive bottling of 22 year old single malt from the GlenDronach distillery. This was drawn from a single Pedro Ximenéz cask that was filled in November 1994 and cracked open in November 2016, producing 660 cask-strength bottles.
Sticky toffee pudding, thick treacle and a burst of Christmas cake fruitiness.
Dark chocolate with crushed coffee beans mixed in. A hint of nutmeg. Powerful raisin and strawberry, with almost balsamic acidity.
Lasting dried fruit sweetness.

Had this because they ran out of the Sullivans cove, what a drop! Beautifully smooth, great balance, easy and fragrant finish. Made the $au 65 shot easily forgettable.
Not much more to be said than just an excellent whisky!
