GlenDronach
Scotland
Single Malt

The Revival has been revived! The GlenDronach's 15 Year Old Revival was a much-loved expression, though was sadly discontinued in 2015 by the distillery, citing lack of maturing stocks. However, stocks have been replenished and The GlenDronach 15 Year Old Revival has returned to our shelves! Matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, this stuff is hugely flavoursome, aromatic and complex.
Please note: We're afraid we can't guarantee which vintage you will receive. It'll still be yummy GlenDronach no matter the vintage, mind!
Coffee beans, sponge cake drenched in sherry, mint leaf, slightly buttery, sultana.
Oily walnut, new leather, blackberry and apple crumble, toasted brown sugar and a touch of liquorice root.
Fresh ginger, waxy orange, caramelised dried fruit and a hint of cigar box.

Rich dark malt, with a taste of heaven
Really good liquid, easy to drink and enjoy.
Very smooth, sherry is everywhere; like a mad sherry trifle. Brown sugar, and a bit of orange in the finish too.. A marvel and a huge step up from the 12... has to be 5 stars Struth
The old 15 I thought I heard it had 20yr blended in it. That explains why this new one is lighter and thinner than previous expressions.
I've just opened my first bottle of the 15 and I'm already considering buying another bottle. I've wanted to try the Glendronach 15 for a while now, having experienced many varieties of whisky and knowing my palate, I've tried all the main expressions of Glendronach and loved them all. This one, however, is my favorite. It is very similar to the 18 with big sherry notes, but there is something almost sugary about this whisky, everything is chocolatey, coffee beans, cocoa, with a punchy vitality to it, full of life. I rate it a clear 9/10. For sherry enthusiasts, this is a must-have in your collection. Don't think about it. Buy yourself a bottle.
