This glorious GlenDronach was distilled in June 2007, and left to rest in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon for its entire maturation. Just over a decade later, in 2019 the single malt was bottled at 12 years old for La Maison du Whisky, with 656 limited bottles released at 56.5% ABV.
Fresh malt intertwined with prominent sherry influence, with cooked plum, apple and ginger spice, alongside underripe mango and caramelised nuts.
Pithy citrus and cinnamon-spiced banana bread, with grapefruit dipped in brown sugar.
Orange blossom and golden syrup, with red grape and dry oak.
