The Glendronach 11 Year Old 2008
This wonderful 2008 vintage GlenDronach spent over a decade of ageing in Pedro Ximénez casks! A sherried Speysider, what a treat. At 11 years old it was bottled up at 46% ABV full of nuts and spices, initially released for Danish retailers with an outturn of 4,650 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Flamed orange peel, hot chocolate and praline, along with a dash of wood spice and red fruits peeking through.
Palate
Heather honey, milk chocolate and berry jam, with grated nutmeg and fresh malt.
Finish
Caramelised nuts and baking spices.
