From GlenDronach's 18th batch of single cask bottlings comes an 11 year old expression, which has enjoyed a good ol' slumber in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, from 2008 to 2020. After that, it was bottled up at cask strength with an outturn of 682 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Packed to the brim with dried fruit, plus helpings of rich dark chocolate and coffee bean.
Palate
Blackcurrant jam on brioche, stem ginger, dark chocolate again, a crackle of peppercorn.
Finish
Lasting dried fruit and ginger.
