GlenDronach 43 Year Old 1971 (cask 2920) - Batch 11

GlenDronach 43YO 71 #2920 Bottling Note

The oldest release in the 11th batch of GlenDronach single cask bottlings is this incredibly impressive 43 year old dram, which was distilled in February 1971. It was left to age in Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheon #2920 until November 2014, when it was bottled with an outturn of 523 bottles. At 43 years old, this GlenDronach has developed a significant amount of character, with expressive notes of old leather, Sherry-soaked plum, crushed walnut, dark coffee and rich blackberry all having their say.
