A 10 year old from the MacDuff distillery, bottled as Glen Deveron.
The nose offers up a fresh greenness with toasty cereal notes and dried barley sugar. Tones of wood shavings and blossom with a musty attic note. A touch of cream and grist and a pleasant floral note. The palate is full of stemmy cut hay notes and an earthen rooty quality. There are toasted cereal notes and wood shavings with a grist and soft oak. The finish is long and full of cereal and dry wood notes.

I think this Whisky would appeal to anyone not liking peaty, smoked or complicated whisky tastes. Sure it’s not a great single malt by any stretch but I can buy this locally (France) for 16 EUR that’s 14 pound. So in that price class this is a winner.

I think single malts are the best, also I'm sure Macduff can make som great single mats but this one sure is not it might be better to drink some good j.Walker mixed with coke. Tomintoul or Craigellacie have muche better entry level single malts

The tasting notes are pretty much spot on...except for the finish, which is REALLY short. It's not a bad whisky, but frankly it doesn't have enough character that I'd buy it again. Would prefer a good blend over this.
