A 20 year old single malt from the Glencadam Distillery, matured in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt from December 1999 to February 2020. Following two decades of rest, the whisky was bottled at cask strength (a hearty 55% ABV) with an outturn of 667 bottles.
Nose: Buttered malt loaf, brown sugar and sultanas.
Palate: More dried fruit, now with a little crystallised ginger bringing some heat. Crumbly fudge and liquorice, too.
Finish: Juicy red grapes, buttered toast and gingerbread.
