Bourbon
This bottling from Glencadam was distilled all the way back in December 1999, and was then whacked into a single bourbon barrel for a long old time. 18 years, to be exact. After such time, it was taken from its cask and bottled in September 2018. Only 248 bottles of this limited edition whisky were produced.
A rather gentle nose, with toffee sweetness, wood spice and very subtle savoury hints of roast beef.
Wonderfully balanced sweet and creamy notes of toffee, vanilla and butterscotch, with a touch of orange peel.
Spices return, mingling with the sweetness on a lazy finish.
