Glencadam 15 Year Old 2004 (cask 13538) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
This Glencadam single malt was distilled in July 2004, before it was filled into a single refill barrel where it stayed for the following 15 years. August 2019 rolled around, and the folks over at Douglas Laing decided to bottle the Highlander for the Old Particular range, with 247 bottles released at 48.4% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasty cereal, with rich bread and butter pudding aromas.
Palate
A drizzle of silky honey, with vanilla pod, green oak and flapjack.
Finish
Lengthy and malty, with freshly baked cinnamon buns and stewed green apple.
