A great value and underrated Highland single malt, this is Glencadam 15 Years Old. It was wholly matured in American oak bourbon casks and then bottled at 46% ABV at natural colour and un-chill filtered. The fruity, creamy, and sweet dram has scored big at various award shows, including recording an outstanding score of 98 points out of 100 at the 2022 International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Fragrant, spicy aromas like gingerbread and cinnamon cut through bright citrus, orchard fruit, and a little beeswax.
Oak char, marmalade, pineapple slices, and white grapes lead with rum spice, coconut milk, and Corinth raisins in support.
Fresh fruit on the tail, with hints of toasted oak.

One of those bottles you need to be patient with but what a lovely whisky. Creamy and fruity this is well worth buying
It has a great texture and is a light, bright Scotch, but it's pricey. Nose: spicy vanilla and fruity Taste: a bit harsh, sweet and fruity, nice lingering finish I'd only enjoy it with added ice or water.
I couldn’t give this anything than 5/5. Flawless.... in every way. My go to summer whisky
From what I've heard, apparently Jim McEwan's favorite whisky. And I can really undersrand why. Great fruit, great balance and structure. If the best white wine was a whisky, it would be Glencadam.
Whisky of the year 2017 by Ralfy...lovly stuff...I love it.
