The 14 year old Glencadam release in 2010 and finish in oloroso sherry casks. Loads of flavour…
Sherried peels, dates, custard and apple crumble. Pepper, cinnamon and barley malt.
Rich, fruity palate with notes of clean malt and buttery toffee. Gingernut biscuits and walnut loaf.
Good length with sweet spices and fruit.

i love it. I'm a fan of sherry matured whisky and this doesn't disappoint at all. looking forward to trying the 21 and port wood finishes
Colour 8/10%; Nose 16/20% ; Palate 36/40% ; Overall 26/30% =Total:86/100, Good nose & palate. Slightly bittery on the back of tongue. Long finish.
Sweet, full aroma, deep oak, notes of vanilla. Spicy flavour, lots of heat, quite perfumed, red velvet. V tasty.
A tremendous dram! Nose: Vanilla, malt and oak-spice, with a lovely hint of clean sherry. No imperfections from the sherry maturation. Taste: Smooth, sweet and spicy. Malt and sweet vanilla in a balanced fusion with dried and fresh fruits. Long finish.
The sherry is very well married into the nose and palate. It's a really a shame that in the palate there is ultra sharp barley or oak. I tried with water, but there is still huge sharpness. A bit mentholly finish.
