From the Murray McDavid Benchmark range comes a 21 year old Glenburgie, drawn from a single bourbon hogshead. This whisky was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV.
Strawberry ice cream, buttered bread and some clove spiciness.
Caramelised almonds, milk chocolate and poached pears.
A hint of peppery oak and cinnamon lingers.
