Independently bottled single malt Scotch from the Glenburgie distillery, released by Càrn Mòr for its Strictly Limited series. This one spent nine years maturing in bourbon barrels between 2012 and 2022 when a total of 800 bottles were finally released.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honeyed biscuits, vanilla cream, soft berries, and stone fruits, with delicate woody spice poking through.
Palate
Nutty malt, soft peach, and apricot open the way, followed by a touch of zesty citrus. Warming layers of caramel and spice build in the depths.
Finish
Sweet gingerbread, buttered popcorn, still fruity with hints of cedar and coffee.
