Glenburgie 9 Year Old 2008 - Claxton's
Independently bottled Glenburgie single malt, aged in a hogshead cask for 9 years. It was distilled in march 2008 and set aside for almost a decade before Claxton's got their hands on it and bottled it up with an outturn of 340 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Freshly chopped oak, oatcakes, white grapes and a hint of digestive biscuits.
Palate
Citrus comes to the fore, with touches of buttered malt loaf and grass.
Finish
Vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of strawberry sauce.
