Glenburgie 45 Year Old 1975 (cask 6011) - Exceptional Casks (Berry Bros. & Rudd)

From Berry Bros. & Rudd's Exceptional Casks, which is all about rare and old whiskies, comes a... Well, a rare and old whisky! This expression is a Glenburgie single malt, distilled back in 1975 and left to age in a single cask for a massive 45 years! Only 136 bottles were produced.

    Tasting Note by The Producer

Musty aromas of old leather, dusty attics and cigar boxes; however, a little time in the glass – and a little warmth from one’s hands – reveals a deeper fruity side. The palate is rich and mouthcoating, with an old-style tropical fruitiness and waxy character building to an immensely complex and balanced experience.
