    Master of Malt

Glenburgie 23 Year Old 1995 (Master of Malt)

We've got a cracking single malt from Glenburgie here, distilled in 1995 and matured for 23 years in a bourbon hogshead. A vast amount of Glenburgie single malt goes into blends like Ballantine's, so it's a rarity and a treat when it gets into the hands of independent bottlers. That's exactly what happened here, and now a total of 140 bottles join our exclusive Master of Malt collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Sweet blondies, dried raspberries, vanilla fudge, and baked apple, with a touch of cedar resting beneath.

    Palate

Stewed plums and apricots lead to runny layers of toffee, with a touch of woody spice followed by marmalade and cacao.

    Finish

Sweet and zesty, with candied oranges, butterscotch, and soft oak spice.
