This is an indie bottling of single malt from Speyside-based distillery, Glenburgie. The 23 year old Scotch whisky was matured in two hogsheads cask from June 1995 to July 2018 before it was bottled at 52.5% ABV by Signatory for its Cask Strength Collection with an outturn of 328 bottles.
Brambleberries, nutty malt and marmalade lead, with a little vanilla and gingerbread.
Buttered bread, caramelised almonds and white chocolate blend with tart dark fruits and peppery oak.
Honey and floral barley linger.
