A marvellous 17-year-old single malt from Glenburgie, independently bottled by Thompson Bros. A vatting of three first-fill bourbon barrels, it's a superbly fruity, tropical, elegantly sweet dram.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Layers of juicy tropical fruits, banana loaf, and creamy caramel, with a touch of sweet spice in tow.
Palate
Heaps of tropical fruit and zest. Waxed citrus, mango, and tangy gooseberry join waves of butterscotch.
Finish
Creamy vanilla, toasted brown sugar, lime peel, and zingy fruits linger.
