Glenburgie 14 Year Old 2003 (cask 96631) - Chieftain's (Ian Macleod)

Distilled at Glenburgie distillery in May 2003, this single malt Scotch was bottled by Ian Macleod for the multi-award winning Chieftain's range in April 2018. It's unchill-filtered and of natural colour, and benefits from an Oloroso sherry finish. Only 398 bottles were drawn from the single cask #96631.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Brown sugar and fizzing ginger coat plenty of Oloroso goodness and white chocolate.

Palate

Deep dark fruits and mandarin lead among notes of oak with chewy tannins.

Finish

A gentle and supple finish carries a hint of toasted malt loaf.
