I am so impressed with this whiskey I got for £30 and even though standard 40% it really has an amazing flavour I can taste toffee fruits and spices while still being very smooth I have bought 4 since the 1st one and only have one left. Not a legend but a very nice dram at a fantastic price.
Purchased a bottle on recommendation of shopkeeper. No sooner tasted than I returned and purchased a second. Smooth and refined to drink leaving a lovely aftertaste. You don't have to be a whisky expert to enjoy this malt at a bargain price.
I bought a bottle for my Father's birthday. I'm usually a bit of a whiskey snob so as an experiment I made the purchase based only on the user ratings on this website. And what a fantastic find. We drained it in just 2 sittings and now I need a bottle of my own to savour! Definitely a crowd pleaser but certainly not to be scoffed at.
It's actually cheaper to buy two half bottles than one 70cl! Either way it's fantastic value for money. I'm not a great one for complex stories and descriptions, but I do get the brown sugar, orange and possibly walnut finish. It does taste 'older' than 10 yrs... I've also tried a 20yr old and it wasn't twice as good! Enjoy!!! Very clean and 'moreish'
Had one over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it. Least expensive half-bottle on MoM and well worth while if the holiday cleaned you out. My notes say orange and nutty notes, with a faint floral quality but I suspect I'd had a few. Looking down previous comments, I notice that mine is the lowest rating. This is a quality of my harsh marking - I really do like it. Well worth the cash.
