A 10 year old single malt from the Glenallachie distillery, independently bottled by Adelphi. This sherried expression was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2017 with an outturn of 592 cask-strength bottles.

Nose

Sweet popcorn, stem ginger, chocolate biscuits.

Palate

Fruitier than the nose suggests with raisins and prunes, followed by a hearty helping of vanilla.

Finish

Dry spiciness.

Another incredible whiskey from Adelphi it gets 5 from me.

Nose : Maple syrup Palate : Strong intense fruit .. have got to say the tongue is almost completely overwhelmed, vanilla and oak back there. Finish : Long and spicy
