GlenAllachie 9 Year Old Douro Valley Wine Cask Finish
GlenAllachie and master distiller Billy Walker are specialists when it comes to cask finishing and that's exactly what this Scotch whisky demonstrates. Aged initially in American oak bourbon casks, it was then transferred to wine barriques that previously contained Port. The taste of the Duoro Valley is apparent here with notes of warming spice and decedent dried fruit.

Waves of plum jam, clementines, and dried red berries, with notes of heather honey and vanilla spice.
Palate
Bursting with dried apricots, heather honey, and crystalised fruits.
Finish
Ripe black fruits, butterscotch, and cinnamon spice.
