Wonderfully well-aged single malt here from GlenAllachie and the distillery's Single Cask series. This particular expression was distilled all the way back in 1989, and aged in an Oloroso sherry hogshead for 31 years, before being bottled up in 2020 with an outturn of just 339 bottles.
Heather honey, mocha, nutmeg, pineapple and eucalyptus.
Waves of dark chocolate, mocha and almonds, followed by orange zest, grapefruit and ginger.
