"Specially bottled to celebrate 40 years of Master of Malt", this magnificent 20-year-old single cask GlenAllachie is an exclusive you won't find anywhere else! Distilled in August 2005, the whisky spent two decades maturing in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, yielding 353 bottles in September 2025. It's a bold, characterful dram, packed with generous waves of baking spices and orchard fruits, with rich notes of muscovado and mocha beneath.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich chocolate, spiced orange, honeycomb, and hazelnuts, with muscovado sugar, salted caramel, crystalised ginger, and a touch of tobacco.
Palate
Baking spices and heather honey lead, with mocha, dried plums, and more brown sugar in tow.
Finish
Juicy raisins, buttery caramel, espresso, and orchard fruits.
