A Signatory bottling of Glenallachie single malt, aged in a pair of hogshead casks from October 1996 to March 2017. After that 2 decade slumber, the whisky was bottled at 43% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Slightly burnt toast with a layer of lemon curd. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and new oak.
Palate
Dried orange peel and raisins, a dusting of nutmeg. Caramel-coated biscuits.
Finish
Medium length and rather malty.
