Description

This release from GlenAllachie's Single Cask series was distilled back in 2005, and rested in a single ex-sherry butt for the next 15 years. It was bottled at cask strength in 2021 at a burly 63% ABV, with an outturn of 523 bottles.

Nose

Roasted coffee bean, creamy nuts, candied ginger, spiced chocolate and vanilla.

Palate

Orange chocolate, golden syrup, and toasted baking spices, along with cinnamon butter.

Finish

Melted brown sugar lingers with candied peels.
