Single Malt
The GlenAllachie Distillery has gone and bottled up a superbly flavoursome whisky exclusively for the UK! This expression is a 14 year old cask strength single malt, which was initially aged in first and second-fill American oak barrels, before being moved over to Oloroso sherry puncheons for two years. Following that, it was bottled up at 55.4% ABV, and it packs full-bodied flavour profile of chocolatey coffee, candied tropical fruit, and festive spice.
Ginger, cinnamon, coffee beans, pineapple, and molasses.
Richly chocolatey, with continued espresso hints. Mango, red apple, a touch of pepper.
Golden syrup cake, almonds, raisins, ginger again.

Fantastic Sherry bomb whisky, tried at full strength rich, smooth and luxurious - certainly the best Sherry Ive had this year - only tried when visited the distillery when I was after the 15 yr old - after trying this one had to get a bottle - one not to be missed - hats off again to Billy Walker - just ordered the PX cask hopefully stocked on M of M soon
