Glorious single cask single malt from GlenAllachie, drawn from just one lone Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. The whisky was distilled back in 2006 and eventually bottled up in 2021 after 14 years of maturation at 60.3% ABV, packing oodles upon oodles of intense sherried notes throughout. Just 329 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Waves of mocha, treacle, and heather honey, with coconut, pineapple, and ginger.
Palate
Lashings of dark chocolate, treacle, mocha, figs, and stewed plums, followed by hints of cinnamon and orange zest.
