Single cask GlenAllachie here, distilled back in 2007. It spent the next 13 years in a single virgin oak barrel, until 2021 when it was bottled for the appropriately-named Single Cask range, with a release of 272 bottles at 59.6% ABV.
Banana bread, earthy vanilla pod, apricot jam, and oily citrus.
Wood spice, marmalade, and honeyed cinnamon, along with a touch of vanilla orchid.
Runny caramel and date sweetness lingers.
