“I've tried this and the 15 and 18 year Olds. This is just as tasty as any of them. The 18 year old maybe a bit too intense for me. 10/10 sherry whisky.”

Reviews for GlenAllachie 12 Year Old

OK

OK, nothing more. I was expecting something a bit special, but I didn't think it was as good as Aberlour 12. It does have some nice spice notes to it, but nothing more.

Good deal

Got it from a taster set of Master of Malt. It has that corny smell I associate with Irish whisky, strangely, but the taste is sharply Scotch, sweet and oily, with nice finish. For its price, it's a good deal.

Beautiful

I've tried this and the 15 and 18 year Olds. This is just as tasty as any of them. The 18 year old maybe a bit too intense for me. 10/10 sherry whisky.

Extraordinary for the price

I recall when the early batches of Aberlour A’bunadh were a sensible price and a great advert for rich, complex Speysides. Although this is not a cask strength, it’s a great substitute - full of deep fruity flavours and festive spice, and a robust ABV.
